“can use as many other choices with else if”.. so is it supposed to be limited with 3 else if statements? because notepad ++ doesn’t allow it.. and neither does my browser..
if I make a 4th “else if” then the “else” statement doesn’t get highlighted..
I use WAMP, other then that the TUT is awesome.

it is the compiler that don’t accept it
other compilers may have no problem
i use a program called: phped nusphere and it is ok

cuz you only need curly braces if you want to execute more than a single line
Comment by thetawaves48 on September 10, 2010 at 6:47 am
Why does it work without the curly braces?
Comment by monkuar on September 10, 2010 at 7:12 am
ur supposed to need to use
$var = “steve”;
if ($var==”steve”){
echo “Hey honey My name is Steve”;
}else{
echo “no My name is not steve”;
}
This is the correct way.

I’m trying to figure out how to make a “Logout” link appear for a only a user in session. But I also want to make a “Login” link in the same exact spot for a person who’s not logged in. How would I use the “if statement” for that? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
