Egocentress, Bowen12 & mennaish – when you open the bursh options panel (tap the brush icon twice), you need to untick the “keep selected” option.

I’m new to illustrator and wish there were some VERY VERY Beginner tutorials. I’m trying to do yours, but I don’t understand, when I use the brush tool and I draw, I get a blue line not a black line. I get a pen like tool where I Can change the points and move them, so I can’t just continue drawing if I let up because it will change or erase the last line I drew unless I make a dot on my paper somewhere else to get rid of the blue pen line part. Do you know how to stop this?

How do you set the pen to read pressure sensitivity in illustrator? I know how it’s done in photoshop and I’ve been trying to figure it out for AI.

Hehehee…
“Does not have an easy to use eraser.”
You sounded really sad at that fact. I just find it funny to that you ended on that.

Thanks for putting these videos on here and your blog Sherm! They’re really helpful and interesting! They’ll probably save me a lot of time I would otherwise spend on Adobe Illustrator trying to figure out how to do stuff. Now, all that’s left is to try it myself!
