Macromedia Dream Weaver
My first choice for HTML editors is Macromedia Dreamweaver. It has an easy to use, intuitive user interface and design tools, state of the art. With a customizable user interface, you can work as you need. Although the student software does not come with manuals, online tutorials Dreamweaver has excellent.
You can easily design layouts and CSS-based designs with tools that allow quick selection and control of page and site style properties wide. Photoshop
Photoshop is the industry standard for graphic arts and my choice of image editing software. I must admit, I love Photoshop. You can modify the original images or photos with a wide range of painting, drawing and editing tools. You can use the working method that suits you best by creating personalized workspace and tool settings and customized keyboard shortcut.
You may sophisticated results by compositing, text to be achieved, and effects on hundreds of layers that you control by grouping into categories, color coding, and locking. You can mimic the traditional techniques of fine arts with dry and wet brush effects, pastel, charcoal, and more, and even brushes to add special effects such as grass and leaves.
There are tools to enhance color, contrast and dynamic range of an image, easy to remove dust, scratches, spots, wrinkles and other imperfections with the healing brush. Photoshop can make quality prints in working with all the data from RAW files from most digital camera models. It’s great all around imaging software. Photoshop is taught in all programs of study graphic arts and has been included in the software for students.
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Illustrator is also taught in all school programs and graphics is another essential element of a software students. It is also an indispensable tool for everyone to express ideas visually in print, the Web needs, and in any other medium. When my clients send me a rough pencil drawing of the logo they want for their business, I create the logo in Illustrator then import them into Photoshop to make it suitable for the web page.
Illustrator is a great 3D features, advanced typographical controls, Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) integration, enhanced printing options. Illustrator help efficiently publish your artwork anywhere.
One of the nicest features is the ability to experience the effects, apply without the underlying work, so you can always start over without editing. InDesign
InDesign is the best software available layout and the choice of most professional print design. With the advent of paid subscription magazines entirely digital, it will always print to the layout of the pages, as these products are extremely popular.
It can be used with Photoshop and Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) file formats and supports the ability to integrate multiple layers with Photoshop. It is a tool necessary around the professional graphic designer. Although generally not covered in most programs, it is a welcome addition to any teaching software;
Adobe GoLive
GoLive is Adobe’s answer to Dreamweaver. It has all the features you find in Dreamweaver and can be directly integrated into the rest of Adobe products. Personally, I prefer Dreamweaver, GoLive is completed, but an excellent HTML editor and then for web designers. Although usually discussed in classes, GoLive is welcome addition to any software student.
Acrobat
Acrobat is the number one tool used to create the PDF file format widely used. With him in the security features that require users to change or copy the record and the ability to obtain a password to avoid opening the document based, Acrobat is still paid for one of first choice plan for the creation of e-books. This program is an absolute necessity for a web designer and therefore a welcome addition to academic software.
Adobe Version Cue
Version Cue is a file manager, that different versions of files you create with the graphics and some other titles. It is a very interesting tool if you have multiple people together on a project that you keep a complete history of file changes.
