Wow, this Tip was really very nice. I never saw the option for converting the average colors of a traced image to swatches in the Live Trace Menue before. Its a nice (multicolor) equivalent to Photoshops average blur filter (I think this is the english name for this filter?) but much more practical. Hmm, I am thinking about a watched folder, an illustrator action and maybe some help of OSX´s Automator to open an image in PS with its swatches comming from AI automatic. I´ll try
